It's been a long time since I've been on here. A lot has happened since then. I had two weeks of camp, then CIY. It's been a busy summer. I wouldn't change much about it. I would have liked to feel differently after CIY, but I'm glad I got to go. I almost feel like I was left out. Everyone came back in this awesome mood, and I didn't. They got closer to each, but I felt out of the loop. It's my own fault I feel this way. But anyway, enought of me thinking about myself. I was so proud of those who either dedicated or rededicated themselves to God. And I when I heard about the guys on Friday night, I had a whole new level of respect for them. We have some of the best guys in our youth group, and I consider myself lucky to even know them. And then, I'm reminded of those leaving for college. Kim, Julie, Conni, and Corey - I'll miss you guys like crazy. But, at least I still have the rest of the youth group to get closer to. I thank God for all of you guys everyday. I'll be praying for you.

The mission trip was awesome. I'm still tired, and I ache, but it's so worth it. We all had so much fun. I would definitely go again. But I hate reporters. They should be flogged.

Hey guys! I'm now on myspace too. I'll include a link at the bottom. Things have been pretty normal. I need to get packing for the missions trip, but I'm too lazy. I have to admit that I'm really starting to love Kelly Clarkson. Her song "You Found Me" has become one of my favourite songs. I love it! It's one of those happy-go-lucky songs. It could almost be a Christian song too. It's pretty sweet. And I've been writing a lot lately. It may sound lame, but it's fan fiction. But I love writing, and Katie says it's pretty good. If Katie says it's good, then I guess it's good. She's a tough critic, so I trust her judgement. It gives me something to do, and it really is fun. Four days until we leave for Ohio! I'm getting really excited now! I've got a lot of energy, so I think I'll go for a walk. Later days!

Not much going on today. Daniel took my laptop to Barry last night to see what he could do. It'll probably cost a lot, but I don't care. I just want my laptop. I miss it.  It hasn't worked for a few months now. I know it's old, but it still worked fairly well. Anyway, we went shopping for stuff for the missions trip this afternoon. I'm excited about the trip, but not about getting there. It'll probably take about a 10 hour drive. Well, with Tony's driving, about 6.   I actually love road trips, but 10 hours in a van might not be so much fun.

It's been a quiet night so far. We got Taco Bell for dinner, and then Daniel and Chris stopped by; I didn't get to see them, though. I love that they've moved out. It's a lot more fun at our house now. Anyway, my dad's spending the night at his parents' house, so it's just the three of us tonight, and mom and Katie are watching a movie. So, like I said, it's pretty quiet. I love when it's just the three of us. We can get pretty crazy. Well, I'm probably boring you, because I'm boring myself. Later days.

Well, I just wrote a nice long entry about happy stuff, pushed the wrong button, and it all got deleted. I'll just start over, I suppose. My last few entries have been rather depressing, so I've decided to write some happy stuff. We've only got two weeks until the missions trip, and I'm pretty excited. I usually get anxious before I go away, but the closer it gets, the more excited I'm getting. Last year's missions trip was awesome, in spite of the poison ivy, the weeding and such. This year's won't be quite like last year's, but I know it'll be amazing. I love helping people, and we're painting an elderly couple's house. That's exactly the kind of work I love to do. The week after that, I'm going to camp to be a counselor. I've never been a counselor before, but I know it'll be awesome. Frankie's the dean, so it'll be tons of fun. Then CIY is in August, and that's tons of fun too. I'll be getting a job not too long after that, and I'm excited about that too. I'm going to apply at the library to be a page. That would be a great job. Oh, and Half-Blood Prince comes out in 31 days! I'm so glad it's summer! We were driving home from the movies the other night with the windows down, and it smelled like summer. It was great.

So, how's that for happy? I know, I need to be happy more often. Another thing I definitely need to work on. Later days.
